The scope of work includes full maintenance and monitoring of the Wassaic Campus water treatment plant, including the furnishing of all chemicals, supplies, equipment, materials, tools, instruments, and labor necessary or advisable for the operation of the facilities. The contractor is responsible for the safety of the water treatment plant and must provide full maintenance service seven days a week, twenty-four hours per day, including New York State legal holidays. The contractor will also provide emergency on-call service as necessary for the operation of the water treatment plant. OPWDD will provide immediate access to equipment for maintenance. Prevailing Wage applies to all repairs, replacements, and modifications. Contractors must submit certified payroll with invoices for payment. Bidders must attend a mandatory site visit to submit a bid. OPWDD may request work references verifying at least three years of relevant experience. References, experience, financial resources, and applicable insurances are required. No subcontracting is allowed without written permission from OPWDD. Bids will be evaluated based on total annual estimated combined cost, and only responsive proposals to submission requirements will be considered. The alteration of the Cost Proposal Form may result in disqualification. OPWDD reserves the right to reject any and all offers.
