This project is located on the West Virginia Turnpike and consist of spot painting the exterior fascias and abutment steelwork - extending five feet - on Bridges 3072 and 3081. Additionally, the scope involves fully repainting the steelwork, coating all substructure units and parapet walls, including the overhangs, of Bridges 3085N and 3085S. Proposals are requested for bridge painting and concrete coating work on designated bridges along the West Virginia Turnpike. The contract includes spot painting of exterior fascias and abutment steelwork--extending five feet--on Bridges 3072 and 3081, with full repainting of steelwork, coating all substructure units, and parapet walls (including overhangs) on Bridges 3085N and 3085S. The work quantities include approximately 8,118 sq ft of paint for Bridge 3072 N&S, 3,938 sq ft of paint for Bridge 3081 N&S, 13,475 sq ft of paint and 11,625 sq ft of concrete coating for Bridge 3085N, and 10,813 sq ft of paint and 11,475 sq ft of concrete coating for Bridge 3085S. All proposals must be submitted electronically via Bid Express. Bidders must be prequalified, submit their bids in the prescribed manner, and include a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond equal to 5% of the bid amount or $2,000 (whichever is greater). Bids without this surety will be deemed irregular. The Authority reserves the right to reject any and all proposals. Minority Owned and Women Owned businesses are encouraged to participate.
