Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Westover, West Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade sidewalk / parking lot.
The work consists of purchasing and installing approximately 560 linear feet of handrailing and lighting along Holland Avenue, including all related appurtenances. Bidders must submit their bids using a two envelope system: Envelope No. 1 should present the bidder's name and address, specify the bid is for "Holland Avenue Handrail and Sidewalk Enhancements," and be addressed to the City of Westover; Envelope No. 2, labeled "Bid Proposal," must be placed inside Envelope No. 1. Envelope No. 1 will be opened first to check for compliance with the Bid Opening Checklist. Only if these documents are in order will Envelope No. 2 be opened and publicly read. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond for five percent of the base bid, a Drug Free Workplace Certification, and proof of a valid West Virginia Contractor's License. No businesses listed on the "System for Award Management" (SAM) may be used. Bids received after the scheduled closing time will be returned unopened. The City of Westover reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Refer to the Instructions to Bidders in the Bidding Documents for further details regarding submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award. Question Deadline 12/03/2025 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing
