The work comprises the construction of a new 30-inch PVC sanitary sewer interceptor that will run parallel to and replace the existing 24-inch Transite (ACP) gravity sanitary sewer interceptor along South Mill Road leading up to the Landis Sewerage Authority Wastewater Plant entrance in the City of Vineland, Cumberland County, New Jersey. Proposals must be submitted in duplicate in an opaque sealed envelope marked with the project name and proposer's information. A signed proposal form and use of the prepared bid form are required. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a bid bond, cashier's check or certified check made payable to the Landis Sewerage Authority equal to 10% of the total bid or $20,000, whichever is less, and a Certificate of Surety. Bids must be submitted by hand or courier to the specified address. The contract will be awarded to the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder as provided by law. Bidders must demonstrate control of necessary equipment, provide requisite certificates and documentation, and comply with all statutory requirements including New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act, Davis Bacon wage rates, and SED utilization goal of 10%. Bidders must provide an Affirmative Action Plan for proposals over $100,000, register with the NJ Department of Treasury, and comply with all relevant Federal and State statutes, rules, and regulations. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
