Site work and new construction of a recreation facility in Hope, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the construction of a 50,000-square-foot, one-story above grade recreation facility; and for site work for a recreation facility.

The project involves the construction of a New Hope Aquatic and Recreation Center, including parking and related items such as material, tools, labor, and associated items. Bidders are expected to furnish all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, and supervision necessary for the proposed work. Bidders are expected to inspect the site and inform themselves of all local conditions. No bids may be withdrawn for at least 90 calendar days after the scheduled closing time for receipt. The time of completion shall be 18 calendar months, including Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays. A certified or cashier's check, or an acceptable bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid, must accompany each bid as a guaranty. The successful bidder(s) will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond, each in the amount of the contract, written by a responsible surety company authorized to do business in Arkansas. Contractors are cautioned that qualified bids may be subject to rejection, and any proposed subcontractors must be acceptable to the Owner. The City of Hope reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any or all informalities, and to award the contract to the bidder(s) in the best interest of the Owner. As of December 4, 2025, a general contractor has not yet been selected for this project. A firm construction timeline for this project has not yet been released.
