Renovation of a mixed-use development in White City, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Design and construct two new buildings, B300 and B301, three new connecting corridors, and a new surface parking lot at the VA Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinics (SORCC). Work includes site preparation and demolition to support new construction, consisting of demolition of two existing buildings and four connecting corridors totaling approximately 46,500 building gross square feet, removal of existing parking lots G and O, and construction of a new 188-space surface parking lot. Site work also includes re-alignment and reconstruction of roads, sidewalks, pedestrian pathways, drainage systems, intersections, utility upgrades or new utility construction, landscaping, and grading to support pedestrian and vehicular access to the new facilities. Construction of the new B300 Support Building includes approximately 80,074 building gross square feet and two new two-story connecting corridors totaling approximately 4,388 building gross square feet. B300 will house the Office of Information Technology including the campus main computer room, Engineering Service, Environmental Management Services, Business Office Service, Organizational Development, Voluntary Service, Quality Management Administrative Service, and Police Service. Construction of the new B301 Primary and Specialty Care Building includes approximately 96,946 building gross square feet, one new connecting corridor of approximately 1,400 building gross square feet, and renovation of approximately 1,000 building gross square feet within the existing B201A building. The new B301 will support Primary Care, Radiology, Dental, and Pharmacy functions. All work will be performed under a single firm-fixed-price design-build contract and includes all design, construction, coordination, and supporting infrastructure necessary to deliver fully functional facilities. Location: VA Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinics (SORCC), 8495 Crater Lake Highway, White City, OR 97503 The contractor shall begin performance within 10 calendar days and complete it within 1410 calendar days. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
