Remodeling of a mixed-use development in Highland Park, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the remodel of a one-story above grade educational facility.
Sealed bid proposals are requested for Cafeteria Alterations for a Pre-K Classroom at Irving Primary School for the Highland Park Board of Education. Bidders must submit a single lump sum bid. All work must be performed in accordance with the project's drawings and manuals, including all incidental work. Bidders must use the designated forms, comply with specified requirements, and submit a bid guarantee equal to 10% of the bid (not exceeding $20,000). Bidders should mark the project name on the envelope and include all required documents. Bidders must be classified in General Construction or General Construction/Alteration and Additions by the NJ Department of the Treasury DPMC. Subcontractors for Structural Steel, Plumbing, HVAC, and Electric must also be prequalified. Proof of DPMC classification must be submitted. Compliance with anti-discrimination and affirmative action laws is required. All bidders and subcontractors must be registered pursuant to the Public Works Contractor Registration Act. Submission of related certificates is encouraged but may be provided prior to contract award. A pre-bid conference at the project site is strongly encouraged to fully understand the scope of work.
