Work of this Contract comprises the abandonment of the existing forcemain, installation of a City-supplied package lift station wet well, installation of a 375mm dia. Sanitary Sewer, including pilot tube bore installation across St. Albert Trail, installation of 150mm diameter Forcemain, and decommissioning and partial demolition of the existing Twilight Lift Station, located at 1 Sturgeon Road, St. Albert, AB T8N 0E5. The Work involves the civil / site works, structural, process mechanical, building mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and controls, coordination, and related components for the new lift station wet well. The Work includes the modification of the existing lift station building: The appropriate asbestos management measures for asbestos found in the insulation during the modification of the existing lift station building. Testing for asbestos and the provisional items for the modification of the building with asbestos present.
