Sealed Bids addressed to Tradition Municipal Utility District No. 1 of Denton County, Board of Directors, will be received at the office of the Engineer for the District, Westwood Professional Services, for "Paving Improvements to serve Tradition Phase 6A." The project scope includes approximately 17,300 SY of 6-inch concrete pavement and 140 LF of 5-foot concrete sidewalk. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified or cashier's check, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract and execute the Bonds on the forms provided and provide the required insurance certificates within 7 days after notification. The Owner is not obligated to accept the lowest or any bid and reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bids or in bidding. The Owner may accept the bid of any responsible person deemed most advantageous to the District for the best and most economical completion of the project. If awarded the contract, the bidder must also provide a printed, executed and notarized original of a completed Certificate of Interested Parties form (Form 1295) and a Verification of Compliance with Government Code Chapters 2252 and 2270 form.
