Demolition and site work for a residential development in Farmingdale, New York. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
The intent of this specification is to completely demolish all existing structures and to remove and properly dispose of all asbestos and non-asbestos containing, tires, rubbish , materials and debris as defined in the attached Asbestos Survey at 361 Eastern Parkway, East Farmingdale. A copy of the Asbestos Survey as prepared by Enviroscience Consultants, Inc. is attached. Please note that a portion of the property is located in the Town of Oyster Bay. The successful bidder will not be permitted to utilize the Town of Oyster Bay property for any reason. Contractor will take all necessary precautions to ensure that none of their employees, equipment, etc. are on Town of Oyster Bay property All proposals must include a Certified Check or Bid Bond payable to the Town of Babylon for five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. An approved apprenticeship program by the NYS Department of Labor is mandatory for all projects above $250,000.00. This requirement applies to all prime contracts and their sub-contracts for all necessary trades, regardless of individual subcontract amounts. Documentation supporting participation in the apprenticeship program must be included with the bid. Failure to provide documentation will result in bid rejection.
