The work is for providing cleaning services at the Montpelier Senior Activity Center located in Montpelier, VT. The instructions to bidders are to submit their bids by the specified due date and time. The City of Montpelier is seeking proposals from qualified cleaning service providers to perform custodial services at the Montpelier Senior Activity Center located at 58 Barre Street. The Center provides daily programs, meals, classes, and community activities, and requires reliable, consistent cleaning services to maintain a welcoming and sanitary environment. Cleaning services are expected to be performed between 6-8 hours per week on a set schedule mutually agreed upon by the contractor and the City. Required Services Include: - 4 Bathrooms (twice weekly minimum): o Clean and disinfect toilets (6), urinals (2), 5 sinks, mirrors, and fixtures o Refill soap, paper towels, and toilet paper (supplies provided by City) o Sweep and mop floors -Floors (weekly): o Vacuum carpets and rugs throughout the facility o Sweep and mop all hard flooring and common areas - Surfaces (weekly): o Wipe and disinfect high-touch surfaces (tables, chairs, railings, doorknobs) o Dust furniture, ledges, and common area surfaces - Remove trash and recycling (twice weekly minimum) o from all rooms and place in designated disposal areas Optional / As-Needed Services (priced separately): - Window cleaning - Carpet deep cleaning - specialty floor care Direct questions to: Amy Pitton MSAC Director apitton@montpelier-vt.org 802-262-6283
