Site work for a civil project in Tuolumne, California. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade bridge / tunnel; and one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The objective is to re-establish the flow path through the original spillway channel of the Cherry Valley Dam spillway and to replace the bridge deck of the Eleanor Dam Bridge to extend the bridge's service life until permanent improvements can be made. Work includes excavation and removal of landslide debris from the Cherry Valley Dam spillway discharge channel side embankment, installation of bank erosion protection to re-establish the original discharge channel flow path, replacement of the existing damaged 1" to 2" thick concrete overlay on the Eleanor Dam Bridge deck with new composite polyester polymer concrete, and patch repair of cracks and voids in the bridge deck, girders, and soffit. The location is Tuolumne County, California.
