Site work for a water / sewer project in Chesterfield, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
This project consists of, but isn't limited to: construction of approximately 1,680 linear feet of 8" water main and approximately 1,460 linear feet of 6" water main in the existing Northwich neighborhood. The work will involve work within the existing pavement, clearing, trenching, backfilling and compaction, erosion and sediment control, work within easements and VDOT right of way, coordination with property owners, reconnection of existing water services, traffic controls, pavement replacement, and other ancillary items necessary for the completion of the water main construction. The project will require work around and avoidance of existing utilities, which must remain in service. Instructions to bidders include the requirement to submit bids either electronically via the County's eProcurement system or in hard copy (not both), with clear labeling instructions for mailed and hand-delivered bids, and the deadline for submission. The Work will be substantially completed within 240 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run. Question Deadline 11/25/2025 at 2:30 PM ET All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents shall be submitted to Engineer in writing via email at wes.hunnius@timmons.com. In order to receive consideration, questions must be received by Engineer at least 14 days prior to the date for the opening of Bids.
