Prequal Pkg 1063-CB Heritage Window Reinstatements, New Perf & Non-Perf Windows Prequalified Bidders will provide pricing in conjunction with drawings, specifications, and CENTRUS' design intent document(s), for the fabrication, and installation, including all labour, material, equipment and supervision required for the heritage windows reinstatements, new performance, and non-performance windows for the Centre Block Rehabilitation Project. The scope of work for the Centre Block procurement of exterior windows within the below noted design package includes but is not limited to: Provision of all required labour, material, equipment and services for the following: i. All new replica windows including new mansard and dormer windows, window frames, glazing, air vapour barrier, moisture and thermal control layers, metal flashings and trims. ii. All new secondary performance windows, window frames, glazing, air vapour barrier, moisture and thermal control layers, metal flashing and trims. iii. Reinstatement of select heritage windows, including Kalemein and rolled steel windows, restored by others. iv. Window assemblies to include all components within the masonry / steel stud framed backup including all plywood backing and blocking, vapour barrier, and moisture and thermal controls. v. All window transitions with adjacent materials and finishes including masonry / interior finishes to be coordinated with others, as part of the Exterior Windows scope of work. vi. All field measurements, fabrication, offsite storage and delivery to be including as necessary to accommodate the construction schedule for Exterior Windows. vii. Asset documentation, applicable submittals and mock-ups as per the CENTRUS specification. viii. Offsite storage of the windows (in appropriate facilities) may be required by the successful bidder who will need to enter into the CM's Offsite Storage Agreement. The work may be tendered into several different packages within Centre Block and the Peace Tower buildings. The Scopes of Work will be further detailed in the tenders to Bidders who successfully prequalify. The Work may be packaged as the CM determine(s) is best for the project.
