Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Junction City, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
This project will be comprised of the removal of the existing asphalt pavement and replacement with concrete pavement on Burke Drive at City Community College. Along with; curb and guttering, ADA sidewalk ramps, and sidewalk replacement (shown as Alt. 1). All contractors will submit bids following specifications as called out in the SMH Consultants Burke Drive Replacement Documents. All contractors will submit bids as followed; 1. As called out in SMH Consultants Burke Drive Replacement Documents at 8-inch-thick concrete pavement roadway. 2. As called out in SMH Consultants Burke Drive Replacement Documents with revision of 7-inch-thick concrete pavement roadway. 3. Separate additional cost as called out in SMH Consultant Burke Drive Replacement Documents of "ALT #1 - REPLACE 4' CONCRETE SIDEWALK 10' WIDE." Project start date called out as mid-May is negotiable if DC3 agrees with appropriate phasing. Notification of successful bidder (Pending BOT Approval) December 10th, 2025
