Site work for an educational facility in Taylorsville, Utah. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility.

Salt Lake Community College is requesting Bids from qualified vendors to replace our main irrigation station pump (pump only) We are keeping our existing motor. The replacement must meet the specified performance and construction standards and must integrate with the existing motor and fit in the existing pump house. Our current pump is an FTX #12488/T015876 An optional site visit is scheduled. PUMP replacement ONLY/NO MOTOR. The pump must meet the following specifications: Pump Components: Minimum 375 PSI high-pressure rated cast iron bowls with 316 stainless steel investment cast impellers for superior corrosion resistance, improved performance at higher pressure, and extended pump lifespan High-strength, corrosion-resistant, rotationally balanced 416SS head shaft including bronze adjusting nut and gib key MCI custom Teflon pump sealing packing system designed to prevent water leakage on the pump skid while providing shaft cooling, MCI fusion bonded epoxy coated fabricated carbon steel discharge head Pump Heads Feature MCI's Integral, Maintenance Free Air Relief System with No Moving Parts to Purge Harmful Airlocks High strength engineered design to maximize stable, efficient power transmission between motor and pump Stainless steel mesh pump strainer with easy-to-attach stainless steel clips Valves: 6-inch full 316 stainless steel grooved pump discharge isolation valve with lever actuator for vibration minimization and increased installation/service flexibility 6IN Pump Silent Wafer Check Valves with Corrosion and Abrasion Resistant Fusion Bonded Epoxy, SS Disc, and Heavy-Duty Spring to Reduce Hydraulic Shock Scope of Work Site inspection and verification of existing conditions Removal of existing motor and pump. Supply and installation of the new pump and existing motor Electrical and mechanical connections, confirming rotation and then set motor shaft Integration with existing irrigation control systems Startup, test, and calibrate as required Operator training and provision of documentation Crane needed to pull pump and motor
