The project consists of the construction of improvements and renovations at Pinegrove Learning Center, Irondequoit High School, Iroquois Middle School, Baseball Press box, Baseball Press box, Baseball Dugout/Storage, Softball Press box, Softball Dugout/Storage . Question Deadline 12/01/2025 at 2:00 PM ET All requests for such information should be made in writing, addressed to: a. Campus Construction Management Group Inc., 1221 Pittsford-Victor Road, Pittsford, NY 14534 Attn: Tim Burke, (585) 825-8855, email: tburke@campuscmg.com & Lorne Reedhead, (585)- 730-3000, email: lreedhead@campuscmg.com Each Bidder shall deposit with its bid, security in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the "INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS." No Bidder may withdraw their bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to waive any and all informalities in or to reject any or all bids. The Owner further reserves its right to disqualify Bidders for any material failure to comply with the "INSTRUCTIONS Doc Notes: Contact Jamie Halbrawk in advance for pick-up, or submit inquiries for expedited delivery through the REC plan room. Bidders wishing sets of Plans and Specifications to be mailed to them shall include, in addition to the document deposit, a non-refundable check in the amount of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) per set for handling and postage, sent and made payable to Rotolite Elliot, 1 Grove Street, Pittsford, New York 14534. A Bidder, making the deposit required for the Bidding Documents, submitting a Proposal accompanied by a certified check or other security in accordance with the requirements contained in the plans and specifications and public advertisement for bids and if the copy of the plans and specifications used by such Bidder, other than the successful Bidder is returned in good condition within thirty (30) days to Rotolite Elliot (address above) award of the contract covered by such plans and specifications, or rejection of the Bid, the full amount of such deposit for one copy of the plans and specifications shall be returned to such Bidder, including the successful Bidder. Partial reimbursement, in an amount equal to the full amount of such deposit for one set of plans and specifications per unsuccessful bidder or non- bidder less the actual cost of reproduction of the plans and specifications, shall be made for the return of all other copies of the plans and specifications in good condition within thirty (30) days following the award of the contract or the rejection of the bids covered by such plans and specifications. Bid date notes: Bids shall be prepared as set forth in "INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS", enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing on its face the name and address of the Bidder and the title of the Work to which the bid enclosed relates. If submitting more than one contract, submit each contract bid in a separate envelope. a. Mechanical Contract bidders shall visit the site to verify and review existing conditions before estimating the cost of the project. b. The Mechanical Contractor is responsible for providing all required closeout documentation including reports of legal disposal of all debris removed off site. The Mechanical Contractor shall provide the District and Architect with a written agreement and stipulated legal compliance to properly dispose of material off site. c. Review Section 011215 for Project Schedule and Documentation. d. Review Section 011500 for Staging & Logistics for this contract. e. Review Section 012100 for Allowances for this contract. f. Review Section 012300 for Alternates for work of this contract. g. Review Section 015000 for work requirements of Temporary Construction Activities in the Prime Contractor's Scope of Work. h. The Mechanical Contractor should note that this project is New York State Tax Exempt for all materials that will be incorporated into the work of each contract. i. The Mechanical Contractor is responsible for reviewing the project phasing plan and understanding the temporary conditions required to maintain functionality in an occupied building. All temporary conditions must provide a safe/code-compliant building and construction work area. j. The Mechanical Contractor shall review specifications for selective demolition requirements in the Prime Contractor's scope of work. k. The General Trades Contractor shall provide dumpster service for all building construction of all contractors' activities until the date of substantial completion. The General Trades Contractor shall haul legal disposable debris off site. l. The Mechanical Contractor shall field verify the dimensions for all new and existing conditions. Field verification shall be performed prior to shop drawings submittals. m. The Mechanical Contractor is to provide all shop drawings within three (3) weeks after award of contract. n. The Mechanical Contractor is to provide submittal on long lead items, including but not limited to, mechanical equipment or as directed by the Construction Manager within two (2) weeks after award of contracts. o. The Mechanical Contractor will initiate and complete coordination drawings in CAD for Pinegrove Building, p. The Architect firm will provide CAD Drawings upon receiving Electronic Transfer File Release Form from contractors. The Mechanical Contractor will forward marked up electronic files and hard copy coordination drawings to the Electrical Contractor. The Electrical Contractor, after including all of its necessary coordination information, shall then forward the electronic files and hard copy coordination drawings to the Plumbing Contractor with a transmittal. The Plumbing Contractor after completion, will forward completed electronic files and coordination drawings to the Mechanical Contractor for final review and will produce enough copies (two to each contractor) and issue as a submittal to the Architect and the Construction Manager. q. The Mechanical Contractor shall coordinate and locate on the structural steel shop drawings and in the field, all roof openings required for the scope of this contract. r. The Mechanical Contractor is responsible to submit a delegated design with an engineer seal for Engineers' approval for the anchoring system for all roof top equipment. The Mechanical Contractor shall provide the General Trades Contractor with all auxiliary embedded items that need to be installed including lintels, sleeves, access doors, etc. The engineer shall be licensed in the State of New York. The Mechanical Contractor shall provide the products on a timely basis to avoid any delays in the scheduled completion of each phase. s. All Contractors shall provide any, and all temporary shoring, bracing, support, or protection systems necessary to expedite their work requirements, including the maintenance of workers safety and compliance with OSHA safety regulations. Shoring plans to be engineered, signed and sealed by an engineer licensed in the state of New York. t. Existing HVAC systems supporting adjacent existing to remain classrooms shall be maintained throughout the project. u. Contract specific selective demolition: 1. All HVAC demolition, including cut and patch to match to facilitate this Contract's Scope of Work and to meet code requirements. 2. Surfaces scheduled to receive new finishes are to be patched and ready to receive the new finish per the room finish schedule. 2. Removal of all abandoned material, equipment, and pads associated with their work. 3. Coordinate cutting of all openings through roof deck with the General Trades Contractor. The Mechanical Contractor is responsible for spotting/layout of new penetrations. 4. The Mechanical Contractor is responsible for the installation of tie downs for roof-mounted equipment. The Mechanical Contractor shall provide engineered drawings for tie-down requirements. 5. The Mechanical Contractor is responsible for removal of all mechanical equipment and storage if reinstallation is required. v. The Mechanical Contractor shall provide temporary protection for the work of the Mechanical Contractor until the time of final cleaning by The General Trade Contractor.
