Site work and paving for a road / highway in Kansas City, Missouri. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Street improvements from N Stark Ave to the east end of the Somerbrook subdivision to add shoulder on north side, construct a left turn lane at N Stark, and add curb and gutter, multi-use path, and street lighting on south side of road. East of Somerbrook to include bridge replacement over Fishing River tributary (bridge section to accommodate future pedestrian/bike access), widening lanes, and adding shoulders on both sides of roadway. Include lighting as budget allows. Roadway widening and lighting improvements east to the city limits. The project is included in the County's 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of November 13, 2025, project is currently in design phase and is at 30% plan development. Construction is scheduled to begin Spring 2027. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
