Description

Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Peterborough, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 7,000-square-foot educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

Construction two Indigenous spaces on Symons Campus: a Roundhouse and a Teaching Lodge. The Roundhouse will serve as a year-round ceremonial and gathering space to foster Indigenous and non-Indigenous community building, learning, and reconciliation. Estimated to be 5,000-7,000 sq ft. The Teaching Lodge will support seasonal, land-based instruction for Indigenous knowledge (IK) activities. Estimated to be 2,000 sq ft of open-air space. TIMELINE: An RFP for site selection, preliminary design & budgeting has been issued by the owner. Question Acceptance Deadline: 2025/11/28 at 2:00:00 PM EST.
