This project is for a Breakpoint nutrient reduction wetland. In general, the work involves, but is not limited to, selective clearing, excavation, grading, steel sheetpile installation, tile installation, aluminum water control structure, stoplog storage structure, riprap with concrete grout and seeding. This project includes just under 6,000 cubic yards of earthwork, 2,172 square feet of steel sheetpile, 378 linear feet of pipe installation, 672 tons of riprap, aluminum water control structure, aluminum CMP riser inlet, 118 cubic yards of concrete grout and 17.3 acres of seeding. The estimated construction cost range for this project is $375,000 to $475,000. Bids must be submitted on the appropriate bid forms provided and shall include a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%). Bidders must also be registered with the Iowa Department of Inspections, Appeals & Licensing.
