The City of Waterbury, Department of Water Pollution Control, with the assistance of Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc is seeking proposals to perform the Trumpet Brook Sewer Relocation as detailed and described in the Request for Proposal Documents. Clarification Deadline 7/27/2026 2:00 PM This Request for Proposal scope of work includes the following major elements: 1. Installation of approximately 225 linear feet of 10-inch diameter ductile iron sanitary sewer main, 180 linear feet of 10-inch diameter PVC sanitary sewer main, 645 linear feet of 15-inch diameter PVC sanitary sewer main and nine new sanitary sewer manholes as indicated on the Contract Drawings 2. Connection of new sanitary sewer main to existing manholes at each end of the project limits as indicated on the Contract Drawings. 3. Reconnection of sewer laterals for properties within the project limits as indicated on the Contract Drawings. 4. Replacement of approximately 300 linear feet of 18-inch diameter RCP storm drain and two storm manholes as indicated in the Contract Drawings. 5. Restoration of the project area as indicated in the Contract Documents. The Successful Proposer shall complete all work and services required any Contract resulting from this RFP within Three Hundred and Sixty-five (365) consecutive calendar days and shall reach final completion within Four Hundred and Fifty-five (455) consecutive calendar days of issuance of the City's written Notice to Proceed.
