No definite date for the rebid.** Seeking written quotes to remove an existing damaged wooden fence and install a new approximately 151 feet in total length, rectangular, 10' tall (8' tall panels) vinyl fence with double gate at the MassWildlife Field Headquarters at above agency address. Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. pecific materials include the following. o Removal and legal disposal of existing wooden fence, posts, and concrete bases (Image 1). o Install a clay colored vinyl privacy fence enclosure in its current location (Figure 1) with a 150' 8" foot long (approximate dimensions of the structure: 52' long x 23' 4" wide) of 8' tall x 6' wide panels of clay colored vinyl fencing with a gap at the base. Fence shall be installed leaving a minimum gap of 24" from the top of the concrete pad to the base of the fence panel. Due to site conditions the gap will range from 24" - 32" in height. Contractors shall establish the 24" benchmark on the SSE facing section of fencing and shall ensure that subsequent panels are installed maintaining a gap that is straight and level with the initial panel. The resulting gap will range from 24 - 32 inches. The top of the fence shall also be installed to be level on all sides. o There are 4 corner posts and additional posts will be installed in accordance with industry standards for the fence type and size. Posts shall be secured in concrete at the appropriate depth. o In areas where the posts are in the existing sidewalk (Figure 1), the sidewalk will be repaired to at least the current condition upon removal of the existing wooden posts and the installation of the new vinyl posts. o Each post shall be reinforced with a metal sleeve at the base to help stabilize the panels during heavy windstorms. o Install a vinyl double swing gate with latch along the West side of the structure. Gate shall be 10' wide (two 5' doors) and placed centrally. he contractor shall complete all work no later than January 31, 2026. The Contractor is responsible for completion of all items listed herein. The project will be considered finished when the Contract Manager has confirmed that each item is satisfactorily completed. Approved machinery and materials must be kept at specified equipment staging areas identified by MassWildlife staff when not in use, unless otherwise permitted. The Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife ("MassWildlife") is seeking a supply labor and materials to remove and legally dispose of existing wooden fencing, and to furnish and install approximately 151 feet of vinyl fencing with a double swinging gate with latch around the generator at MassWildlife Field Headquarters at 1 Rabbit Hill Road, Westborough, MA. The Contractor shall obtain needed permits and furnish all labor and materials, tools and equipment, and to do all the work necessary to complete the work in accordance with the Specifications described herein. The dimensions provided are approximate and it is the responsibility of the Contractor to verify the dimensions. At the conclusion of the installation, the worksite shall be left in a condition equal to or better than its preexisting condition and to the satisfaction of MassWildlife.
