Site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Hermitage, Missouri. Completed plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Removal of an existing bridge and the construction of a new 240-foot three span prestressed concrete NU girder bridge. Guardrail, riprap, and permanent erosion control will be installed along with any other incidental work in accordance with plans and specifications. All bidders must be on MoDOTs Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the current version of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening. A certified cashiers check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. The Hickory County reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The project will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. The DBE Goal for this project is 0%. No 2nd tier subcontracting will be allowed on this project. MODOT - Construction of Hickory County Bridge #0900010 Question Deadline 12/05/2025: All questions concerning the bid document preparation can be directed to the Project Manager, John Cahill, at Great River Engineering at 417-886-7171. Project specific questions can be directed to the Design Professional of record at Great River Engineering. Questions must be received by the Design Professional at least four (4) working days prior to the bid opening.
