Statements of Qualifications are requested from Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) firms for pre-construction services and construction for Fish Bolt Park. The project includes retrofitting an existing stormwater detention pond along the City of Chamblee Rail Trail into a tiered stormwater wetlands with a walking path and park amenities. The scope includes development of aesthetic water features, a multi-use path, cast-in-place concrete retaining walls, an elevated observation deck, seating, site lighting, landscaping, and other park features, along with erosion and sediment control measures, labor, and materials. CMAR services will be provided under one contract and will cover preconstruction services, subcontractor procurement, and construction services. All required federal, state, and local permits as well as easements or rights of way for the project will be obtained before construction. Proposers are urged to register with the Engineer to receive notifications, addenda, and other important information for submitting a bid. Prospective bidders can examine or obtain Statements of Qualifications Documents from the Issuing Office for a nonrefundable fee. Partial sets of documents will not be available. Questions regarding the RFQ must be submitted in writing by the specified deadline. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality, reject any or all submittals, evaluate submittals, and accept the submittal that is most advantageous. Interviews with proposers are not anticipated but may be conducted at the Owner's discretion. The Owner may request clarification or more information from any firm regarding their proposal. Selection will be based on best value in the Owner's opinion.
