The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools and equipment required to complete the construction indicated in these Drawings and Specifications. Pre-qualification of all bidders is required prior to the bid due date, with a fully executed copy of AIA Document A305 "Contractor's Qualification Statement" to be submitted via email before submitting the bid form. Bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check in an amount not less than ten percent of the base bid must be submitted with the bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance bond and a labor and material payment bond for one hundred percent of the bid amount. All contracts are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and other relevant laws. The Channahon Park District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities, technicalities, and irregularities in the bidding. All bidders must comply with applicable United States and State of Illinois laws concerning public works projects, including the Illinois Human Rights Act.
