Renovation of a multi-residential development in Easton, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade multi-residential development.

The project consists of installing an elevator-lift, one each, at the two Talbot Interfaith Shelters located at 107 and 109 Goldsborough Street, Easton, Maryland. Installation work includes a 72 vertical platform lift with platform and glass/aluminum enclosure with upper gate and full door. Additional details are available in the Scope of Work Summary in the bid package. Partial funding is through a Maryland Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), and all federal CDBG requirements apply, including Davis-Bacon Act, Section 3 requirements, and the Contract Work Hours and Safety Act. The contractor must comply with HUD Form 4010 Federal Labor Standards, with weekly payrolls and maintenance of payroll records. The Build America, Buy America Act (BABA) applies to project materials. Bidders must submit a 5% bid bond, cashiers check, or certified check with the sealed proposal, along with proof of Workers Compensation insurance, references, and ability to fulfill contract terms. The successful bidder must provide a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Labor & Materials Payment Bond upon award. Talbot County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or accept any bid or portions thereof.
