Renovation of an educational facility in East Brady, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 9,750-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility; and 6,946-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.

The scope of work generally includes removal of the existing gym roof system and installation of approximately 9,750 square feet EPDM; downspout replacement; removal of rooftop units; add alternative for TPO gym roofing; add alternative for 6,946 square feet EPDM locker room roofing; add alternative for TPO locker room roofing; and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said construction. All bidders are required to buy the Bid Documents in PDF format for a non-refundable deposit of $125.00 from QuestCDN using project number 9937803. Any technical questions regarding the bid documents are to be directed to LSSE. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud via video conference. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Borough of East Brady. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Borough of East Brady to guarantee the bidder's entrance into the contract if given the award. No bid bond shall be waived or returned because the Bidder has failed to or cannot comply with any requirements as set forth in the plans, specifications, or any applicable statutes of the State of Pennsylvania or any applicable municipal ordinances. The Borough of East Brady reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. Attention is directed to the fact that procurement is subject to all requirements of the Pennsylvania "Steel Products Procurement Act, Act No. 1978-3"; and for Contract value exceeding $25,000, the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act of 1961 P.L. 987), and The Public Works Employment Verification Act (July 2012) apply. The Borough of East Brady shall (a) award the construction contract to the lowest responsible bidder therefore, or (b) reject all bids received within ninety (90) days of the date of bid opening; provided, however, that the Borough of East Brady may, in its sole discretion, delay such award or rejection for up to one hundred twenty (120) days from the bid opening date until the Borough of East Brady has received all required approvals from other governmental agencies. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
