MSI Project # 23409002.02 The proposed Work is officially known as LaSalle Water Tower Painting and is further described as follows: The proposed Work consists of but is not limited to the following: Exterior painting of a 300,000 gallon water tower. The Work to be performed under this Contract consists of painting the 300,000 gallon LaSalle Water Tower in Marquette Heights, Illinois. The tank is owned by the City of Marquette Heights. The work includes the following. Painting the tank exterior:- A Location Map for the Centennial Drive Water Tower is shown in Appendix A. generic drawing of the Water Tower is shown in Appendix B. Appendix C shows a current photo of the Water Tower. The Water Tower was last painted in 2004 with the coatings shown in Appendix D. The City of Marquette Heights will drain the Water Tower prior to CONTRACTOR's work. Five days advance notice is required from the CONTRACTOR. The water tower is not equipped with a mixer. There are no antennas on top of the tower. The work shall be performed in the spring/summer of 2026 as soon as weather conditions are favorable for painting. Final Completion for the Work will be within 90 days Question Deadline 12/11/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS are to be directed to ENGINEER. Questions received less than five (5) working days prior to the date for opening of BIDS may not be answered. The bidder is seeking bids from qualified small, disadvantaged, minority and women-owned businesses.
