This project proposes converting the entire closed loop system into a centralized traffic management system with remote connection capabilities. This project will install new single mode fiber optic cable, network switches, PTZ cameras and ATC controllers among other equipment to allow for remote access and monitoring capabilities at these locations. There are eighty-two (82) signalized intersections proposed on this project located in Cook and DuPage Counties within the Cities of Rolling Meadows and Des Plaines, and the Villages of Mount Prospect, Elk Grove and Bensenville.
