Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Woodstock, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Oxford County is following a prequalification process prior to reconstruct Oxford Road 2 (Dundas Street), City of Woodstock. The existing roadway has a 4-lane cross section with curb faced sidewalk on both sides. Between the western limits and Ingersoll Road, the County is pursuing a 'Road Diet' initiative to improve overall traffic flow, reduce accidents, and increase safety for all modes of transportation by reducing the existing 4 lanes to 2 lanes, providing a centre two-way left-turn lane, dedicated bike lanes and widened sidewalks.
