Renovation of a mixed-use development in Sherborn, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade library.
The project consists of renovating the lower level Sherborn Public Library storage area to become the new home for the Sherborn History Center. Renovations include demolition of existing nonstructural wall, doors, miscellaneous finishes, and limited building systems. Work includes new non-structural gypsum wallboard (GWB) wall partitions, interior storefront, doors, millwork, linear wood blade ceiling system, limited building system upgrades, painting, and graphic/signage elements. Bids must be prepared and submitted electronically via www.projectdog.com. General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management (DCAMM) as General Contractors and include a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and signed DCAMM Update Statement. Filed sub-bidders must be DCAMM certified in their trade and include DCAMM Sub Bidder Certificate of Eligibility and signed Sub-Bidders Update Statement. General and filed sub-bids must be accompanied by a bid deposit of at least 5% of the greatest possible bid amount.
