Renovation of an educational facility in Northlake, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.
Sealed bids are being solicited for Phase 2 School Renovation at Westdale School, including Bid Package 15B – Plumbing, Bid Package 15C – HVAC, and Bid Package 16A – Electrical. Each bid must be delivered in triplicate to the specified address and be submitted on the supplied bid form, in a sealed opaque envelope. Bids must include the project name, bidder's name and address, and bid package designation. Submissions must include the bid form, bid bond, and a signed non-collusion statement. Bidders must also demonstrate previous experience with renovation work in Illinois schools by submitting a confidential AIA 305 Statement of Qualifications to the architect's office. A ten percent (10%) bid security is required. Bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting at the school location. The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and set aside bids from contractors lacking adequate experience. Bids must remain valid for sixty days after opening. No verbal, electronic, or faxed bids will be accepted.
