The Phase 2 Raw Water Line Extension consists of approximately 1,900 LF of 20-inch raw water line including a jack and bore crossing of a road and railroad with approximately 137 LF of raw water line installed in steel casing. Project includes modifications to interconnections at a pump station and water treatment plant site on each end of the raw water line. Other work as shown on contract documents. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5% percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid) and in the form of a Bid bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions or a cashiers check. Such Bid bond will be issued in the form included in the Bidding Documents. Contractor shall furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each in an amount at least equal to the Contract Price, as security for the faithful performance and payment of Contractor's obligations under the Contract. These bonds must remain in effect until one year after the date when final payment becomes due or until completion of the correction period specified in Paragraph 15.08, whichever is later, except as provided otherwise by Laws or Regulations, the terms of a prescribed bond form, the Supplementary Conditions, or other provisions of the Contract.
