Sealed proposals from general contractors are requested for the Animal Control Facility located at 144 Sam Walker Drive, LaGrange, GA 30241. The contract, if awarded, will be on a lump sum basis. The project is to be substantially complete in one hundred and eighty (180) consecutive calendar days. Bids must include 2 paper copies and one electronic copy. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on the Project Site. All requests for clarification or additional information must be made via email only to the designated officials listed. A bid bond equal to 5% of the bid is required. Both a performance bond and a payment bond, each for 100% of the contract price, are required from the successful bidder. The successful bidder must provide comprehensive and liability insurance (naming the County as co-insured), a certificate of insurance for Workmen's Compensation Insurance, a vendor application, e-verify form, and a W-9 prior to beginning work. All subcontractors must provide a Troup County e-verify form prior to beginning work on site. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities.
