Renovation of a multi-residential development in Iuka, Mississippi. Working plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade multi-residential development.
The scope of work involves the 2025 Window Replacement at Project MS 075-003 Hiett Circle for the Iuka Housing Authority. Bids from contractors are required for this project, to be received at the central office. The work will be bid as a single lump Prime Contract and requires a "commercial contractor" license. Instructions to bidders include: - Bid documents must be obtained through the specified website, with registration and a valid email address required. - All bids must be submitted in duplicate on forms provided by the architect, accompanied by a certified check or bid bond of at least 5% of the base bid. - The successful bidder must provide and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each for 100% of the contract amount. - All bid submissions should be in a sealed envelope, with the project title and the bidder's Certificate of Responsibility number clearly indicated on the outside. Only sealed envelope submissions and telegraphic modifications are accepted. - Equal employment opportunity and payment of specified minimum wages is required. - Bidders cannot withdraw their bids for 45 days after the bid opening, and must comply with all relevant state, city, and county laws. - The Iuka Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive formalities and informalities.
