Site work for a water / sewer project in Ayden, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Separate sealed bids are requested for the construction of the 2023 Swift Creek Sanitary Sewer, Contract No. 8 - Sanitary Sewer Outfall Replacement. Bidders must be properly licensed under Chapter 87, General Statutes of North Carolina. Small, minority, women’s, and disadvantaged businesses and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit bids. The project is subject to the good faith efforts and goals for participation by minority businesses as required by G.S. 143-128.2, and there is a verifiable ten percent (10%) goal for participation by minority businesses in the total value of the work. Bidders must submit all required affidavits and documentation within the specified time frames to demonstrate compliance with good faith efforts. Failure to do so is grounds for rejection of the bid. Bidders found guilty of discrimination within the last two years are debarred from bidding.
