Site work and new construction of a civil project in Robinson, Illinois. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade water / sewer project; and one-story above grade water / sewer project.

Division A includes a new 1,800 gallon per minute filtration and Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl (PFAS) removal water treatment plant with related site improvements and accessories; associated pumps, piping, valves, structures, electrical work and appurtenances. Electrical work includes outside conduits, feeders, and light poles. The work shall include all labor, supervision, materials, supplies, transportation, equipment, and services necessary and required to perform the project as set forth in the Contract Documents. Buildings include the office building with maintenance shop area, cold storage, and water treatment plant. Division A includes all work not defined in Division B and C. Division B includes two (2) one million gallon ground storage tanks. Work includes site grading, earthwork, foundation, steel erection, and coating. Foundation/concrete work to include valve vault, valve(s), and piping extend outside of the vault or foundation shall be included. Electrical conduits, conductors, and pressure sensors are not included in the contract. Division C includes all underground water main, water services, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer within 5' of the building/structure or foundation. In addition to the water main, all manhole structures (excluding the head tank) shall be included. Fire hydrants to flush the head tank shall be included in Division C work. This work includes the conversion of the raw water main to finish water main, requiring multiple mobilizations to connect, disconnect, tap, and plug the water mains. A certified check or bank draft payable to the order of Robinson Palestine Water Commission, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Base Bid for the Divisions bid shall be submitted with each Bid. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Bids will be held good for a period of ninety (90) days subsequent to the opening of Bids.
