Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Sherman, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The project consists of all work associated with the construction of a 2.0-million-gallon composite elevated storage tank at the project site located on the southern side of Shepherd Dr, approximately .4 miles west of US 75. This includes all yard piping, grading, paving, fencing, and all other items associated with this site as indicated in the contract documents. The project also encompasses the dismantling of an existing .75-million-gallon steel elevated storage tank located at an existing site on the northern side of Shepherd Dr, approximately .6 miles west of US 75. This includes the removal, abandonment, and relocation of items at the existing tank site as indicated in the contract documents. All necessary labor, materials, and testing must be included in accordance with the plans and specifications. Bids must be accompanied by a cashier's check or certified check in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price, or an original bid bond, or a Binder of Insurance for the same amount, as a guarantee that the respondent will enter into a contract and execute a Performance Bond within ten days after notice of award of contract. The successful respondent must furnish a performance bond and a labor and material payment bond in conformance with statutory requirements upon award and a one-year maintenance bond in the amount of one hundred percent of the total contract price upon project completion. All bonds must be submitted by a surety company approved by the City and licensed to operate in Texas, carrying a current Best Rating of "A" or better. Bids must supply all required information and be clearly labeled on the outside envelope.
