Site work for a water / sewer project in Rochelle, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Sealed bids will be received for the Ritchie to Centerpoint Installation Contract. A pre-bid conference will be held via a virtual meeting, and attendance is strongly encouraged. Plans and specifications are available for viewing with the City, and copies may be acquired from the consulting engineers. Bids must include a certified check, bank draft, or bid bond for at least five percent of the bid amount. The bid must be clearly marked to identify package contents and reference the specified specification. The successful bidder is required to register for the project and provide in duplicate the executed Non-Collusion Affidavit, Bid Form, Bid Bond/Certified Check/Money Order, and any other documents required by the specifications. Bids cannot be withdrawn for sixty days without consent, and the City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive informalities to determine and accept the bid most advantageous to the Utility. QA date - 12-8-2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids will not be answered.
