Site work for a mixed-use development in South Bend, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade sidewalk / parking lot; and one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.

Work includes removal and reconstruction of work to be performed shall include furnishing all labor, services, materials, insurance and equipment to remove and replace concrete sidewalk, curb and ADA compliant curb ramps, remove tennis court, fencing and light poles, application of sod, and relocation of hydrant at Marshall Park in South Bend, all more particularly described in plans and specifications prepared by City of South Bend Division of Engineering. Sealed electronic bids must include the title of the bid and project number in the subject line of the email. The company/vendor’s name, address, contact email address, and phone number must be included in the body of the email. Electronic bids must use the City of South Bend Contractor's Bid for Public Work Form and include an electronic copy of a Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid plus any alternates. The awarded bidder will be required to send the original check or bid bond via USPS. Each bidder must comply with "City of South Bend EEO Contracting Provision Diversity Utilization". Woman and Minority-Owned Business Enterprises (W/MBE) are encouraged to respond. Bidders must comply with all submission requirements in Section 6-63 of the Responsible Bidder Ordinance. The City reserves the right to request supplemental information and may conduct random inquiries of the bidder's current and previous customers. The Board of Public Works reserves the right to reject any or all bids or accept a full or partial award of the bid or bids which, in its judgment, will be to the best interests of the City of South Bend. If a base bid plus alternates is awarded, the Board will consider the total cost when determining the lowest, responsive and responsible bid.
