As of November 17, 2025, a general contractor was awarded. Construction began in 2023 and was completed in June 2024. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: In accordance with the Contract Documents prepared by: Technicon Design Group, Inc. 1800 North Perry Street, Suite 102 Ottawa, Ohio 45875 Bidders may submit requests for consideration of a proposed Substitution for a specified product, equipment, or service to the Architect/Engineer ("A/E") no later than 10 days prior to the bid opening. Additional products, equipment, and services may be accepted as approved Substitutions only by written Addendum. Prevailing Wage Rates and Equal Opportunity Requirements are applicable to this Project. DOMESTIC STEEL USE REQUIREMENTS AS SPECIFIED IN SECTION 153.011; ORC APPLY TO THIS PROJECT. COPIES OF SECTION 153.011, ORC CAN BE OBTAINED FROM ANY OF THE OFFICES OF THE OHIO DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES. Bidders are encouraged to be enrolled in and to be in good standing in a DrugFree Workplace Program ("DFWP") approved by the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation ("OBWC") prior to submitting a Bid, and, if awarded a Contract, shall comply with DFWP. All work and bids shall be under one General Contract including General Construction, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing work for the Project. The General Contractor is responsible for scheduling the Project, coordinating work with other subcontractors, and providing other services identified in the Contract Documents. The estimated cost of the Project is $3,656,000 for the base bid, and $610,000 for combined alternates. The bidder shall furnish a bid bond in accordance with Section 4.2 of the Instruction to Bidders. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
