The Public Works Department requests bids from qualified vendors and contractors to provide services associated with concrete during the time period of January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026. SPECIFICATIONS Read all instructions, terms and conditions carefully A. Intent: It is the intent of this bid process to establish contractual source(s) for the furnishing and delivery of Boone County Fiscal Court's requirements for the material(s) specified elsewhere herein. B. Term: The term of this contract shall be for twelve (12) months, beginning January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026. C. Price Adjustments: Unless otherwise specified, all prices contained herein and established by the bid award shall be firm and fixed for the above-mentioned timeframe. No minimum quantity requirements. 1. Price Increases: A price increase will not be allowed during the first six (6) months of the bid award. Only one price increase will be allowed during the bid award period. The price increase must be based on industry wide price changes and the costs at the time of original bid. The bid holder must request in writing a price increase at least thirty (30) days prior to the effective date and shall provide firm proof that the price increase is justified. The County may request additional information or justification. If the price increase is denied, the bid holder may withdraw from the bid award without prejudice upon written notice and approval of the County. Notice of withdrawal must be provided a minimum of forty-five (45) days prior to the effective date. 2. Price Decreases: The bid prices shall be reduced to reflect any industry wide price decreases. The bid award holder is required to furnish the County with notice of any price decreases as soon as such decreases are available.
