The City of Weslaco is seeking a contractor for all services related to the maintenance, upgrades, and capital improvements across City-owned parks, trails, plazas, and recreational facilities for various projects in the city of Weslaco. 2. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision needed to complete assigned tasks; coordinate with City staff; comply with all applicable standards, codes, and safety requirements; maintain safe work zones; and restore all disturbed areas to original or better condition. 3. Work may include general site improvements; trail construction; playground and recreational equipment installation; repairs to park amenities and small structures; upgrades to athletic fields and courts; landscaping and irrigation work; installation of site furnishings, signage, and hardscape features; minor utility adjustments; and other improvements needed throughout City parks. 4. The contractor shall mobilize within 8 business days within receiving a task order, unless otherwise approved, contractor shall maintain contact with city staff throughout project. 5. The contractor shall utilize personnel that are qualified, through training and experience, to perform the work under this RFB. No temporary, same day labor shall be used. 6. Contract drawings will be provided by the city for each assigned project, if necessary.
