A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Sealed bids are invited for Plum Creek Culvert Repairs on the Cowboy Trail near Johnstown, Nebraska, in Brown County. Bids will be publicly opened, read aloud, and tabulated at the specified location. Bidders may obtain copies of the bid documents from the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission or specified builder bureaus. Proposals must be submitted on the form supplied with the bid documents and accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid as bid security. No bid bond is required if the total project cost is less than $50,000. A labor and material payment bond is required if the contract award exceeds $15,000. A performance bond is required if the contract sum exceeds $50,000 unless a lump-sum payment is accepted or the total project cost exceeds $100,000. Proposals must be marked "Sealed Bid for Plum Creek Culvert Repairs." The commission reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive informalities or irregularities. Bids may not be withdrawn for thirty days after the opening date.
