Site work for a mixed-use development in Pentagon, District of Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a military facility; and water / sewer project.
The objective of this task order is to locate, assess, and secure all the accessible utility structures on the Pentagon Reservation, with the priority given to securing utility structures outside the security perimeter but lie within the Pentagon Reservation footprint. The second priority is given to securing structures within the security perimeter. The security perimeter is defined as those areas only accessible after passing through a manned security checkpoint. The BASE contract of this scope of work is to perform a field survey of all Pentagon accessible utility structures, to categorize their condition as specified and to secure the utility structures that are simple refits outside the security perimeter. The OPTION-1 line items entail the work to secure the utility structures that are simple refits within the security perimeter. The OPTION-2 line items entail the work to secure the utility structures that are simple refits outside the security perimeter in excess of the quantities identified in the BASE contract. The OPTION-3 line items entail the work to secure the utility structures that are simple refits inside the security perimeter in excess of the quantities identified in the OPTION 1 line items. The estimated number of structures is approximately 1,040. The actual number of existing structures may vary from the estimated number.
