The project consists of a Single-Prime General Construction Contract for the Elba Central School District, 2025-2026 COEP Project at the Main Building, 57 South Main Street, Elba, NY 14058. Bids must be prepared according to the Instructions to Bidders, enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the bidder's name and address and the title of the work. Bidders must deposit with their bid security not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The bidding documents contain detailed requirements for bidder qualifications, including bonding and insurance requirements, financial statements, bank references, lists of lawsuits, a statement of surety's intent to issue Performance and Payment Bonds, and a description of similar projects completed by the bidder. Attention is called to the Owner's sales tax exemption, employment conditions, and minimum wage rates. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids and may disqualify bidders for failure to comply with the Instructions to Bidders.
