Remodeling of a museum in Peoria, Illinois. Working plans call for the remodel of a one-story above grade museum.
As of December 4, 2025, no bids were received for this project. No definite date for a rebid. Sealed bids are invited for the Floor Replacement - Water Table Exhibit project at the Peoria Playhouse Children's Museum, 2218 N Prospect Rd, Peoria, Illinois. Base Bids are to be received for this project. Bid Documents, including plans, specifications, and interpretations, are available electronically at no charge or as printed sets with a non-refundable deposit. A 10% Bid Bond must accompany each bid proposal. The successful bidder will be required to provide a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Labor and Materials Payment Bond within ten days of contract award. Work must comply with prevailing wage requirements and adhere to Illinois state laws on worker preferences, drug-free workplaces, substance abuse prevention, and non-discrimination. Participation by minority and female-owned firms is encouraged. The Peoria Park District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive technical deficiencies, informalities, or irregularities, or rebid the project.
