The Project includes the following Work: Provide all material and labor necessary to increase the pumping capacity of the existing Morning Star Lift Station #1. The major components to be installed consist of the following: Three (3) KSB KRT Model - K 150-317/374XEG-S (50HP, 460V, 3PH) explosion proof electric submersible pumps with lifting bails and 50 feet of power cable to replace the existing pumps in the wet well. Three (3) KSB 6" x 6" WOWI discharge elbows and rail brackets. Three (3) KSB Pump Safe Relay Module A - Moisture and Thermal Protection in motor, installed in lift station control panel to replace the existing 3. Three (3) KSB pump claws - (slide bracket) to adapt to pump discharge flange to guide and seat the new proposed pump elbow. Three (3) Sets of stainless-steel lifting chain and shackles - 30 feet long each. Upgrade to the existing VFDs to accommodate the larger pumps. The list above describes the major components required to increase the pumping capacity at the lift station but is in no way a complete list of all necessary parts and labor. It is the responsibility of the contractor to include all needed items in order to facilitate the improvement to the satisfaction of the City of Liberty Hill within their bid pricing.
