On behalf of CityHousing Hamilton Corporation (CHH), the City is requesting submissions from Proponents who wish to be considered for the Design/Construction Team under a CCDC 30 - 2018 Integrated Project Delivery Contract. CHH has selected the Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) method to deliver Energiesprong informed Deep Energy Retrofits to 123 townhome units at two social housing sites in Hamilton, Ontario: Greendale Dr./Cranbrook Dr. and 980 Upper Ottawa St. This Project is part of the Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) Greener Neighbourhoods Pilot Program (GNPP) and represents a transformative step toward CHH's and Canada's building retrofit goals. The Successful Proponent will enter into a CCDC 30 - 2018 Integrated Project Delivery Contract with CHH as the Owner, and with the attached Supplementary Conditions to Contract CCDC 30-2018 forming part of the Contract Documents. It is the intent to onboard the Contractor and Consultant (the Design/Construction Team) via this RFP to commence the Validation Phase, and to subsequently onboard Other IPD Parties at a later stage to meet the unique needs of the Project as required. The target date for execution of the CCDC 30 Contract between Owner, Consultant, and Contractor is February 26, 2026. The target date for completion of the Validation Phase is June 26, 2026. The required date for completing a minimum of $10M of Design Services and Work is March 31, 2027, and all Design Services and Work must be completed by March 31, 2028.
