Remodeling of a municipal facility in Lockhart, Texas. Completed plans call for the remodel of a 1,200-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility; and one-story above grade municipal facility.
Sealed bids are requested for construction of animal shelter improvements involving remodeling of the existing kennel building, including resealing of floors and walls. Add alternates include a 1,200 SF expansion of the existing pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) kennel and a covered sally port. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or an approved bidder's bond amounting to at least 5% of the maximum total proposal, payable to the City of Lockhart, as a guarantee. The successful bidder is required to provide performance and payment bonds each for 100% of the contract price from an approved Surety Company. Bid documents and construction drawings are available at www.civcastusa.com, and bidders must register on this website to access specifications, plans, and other project documents. It is solely the responsibility of plan holders to check this site for any addenda. Question Deadline 12/10/2025 Please submit questions for this project seven (7) days prior to bid opening through Online. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing.
